Last Wednesday we had Christmas cookie night with Jack and Kyle. I had planned for them to help make peanut butter cookies with the Hersey Kiss in the middle and sugar cookies. The boys had such a good time with the cookies. They loved rolling them in sugar and pushing the kisses into the middle of the cookies. They also enjoyed using the cookie cutters and decorating their sugar cookies. But perhaps the most fun was dumping the sprinkles and other toppings. Somehow during the course of the evening Kyle lost his shirt and Jack lost his pants due to messy circumstances. Despite the chaos and the mess the boys made some pretty colorful and yummy cookies and they were quite proud of them. We took the cookies to Christmas at Paul's parents on Saturday and each of the boys proudly delivered their masterpieces to their grandparents. Each one got two cookies, one from each boy, delivered in the back of a toy dump truck. It was cute.
