What can I say, we miss our friends from the Palatine a great deal! That's why we decided to make a day trip on Saturday to attend our former playgroup's Fall Frenzy party. I'm so glad we made the effort. Jack had a lot of fun playing with his buddies and Paul and I really enjoyed catching up with our friends. Meghan, Lisa and Prudence did such an awesome job planning and throwing this party. Jack had a great time painting his pumpkin. Apparently his favorite color is blue because he used a lot of blue on his pumpkin. It's actually still not dry, two days later. We made the most of our trip and after the party went to our storage unit and house to pack up more things to bring to Morton. We ended up with a van completely full of stuff. Jack also got a chance to say goodbye to the house. He still talks about Jack's house a lot and how he wants to go home to Jack's house and things like that. So we took him over and tried to explain the best we could that we didn't live there anymore. I'm sure he's still confused since many of our things are still there. But hopefully he understands at least a little. At the time I think he was more interested in getting back to the Lyon's house to play with Darby and Elena more.
