I was so excited this morning when we woke up and our roads weren't plowed and the temperature was pretty nice and we had no plans and no one was sick! That meant we could go sledding! We got all dressed and put Jack in his snow pants and boots and coat. I finally got him to agree to put gloves on and out we went to play in some snow. Jack wasn't too fond of it at first. I don't think he really knows what to do in the snow and he hates gloves because he can't use his hands when he's wearing them. So we got out his sled and plopped him in it. He looked a little concerned and a little upset with us for putting him through this. But turns out his facial expression had nothing to do with his enjoyment level. He loved being pulled around in the snow. Every time we stopped he would say "more?". So we took a few laps around the block and up and down the very small hill on our road. We spun him around and took him over bumps and he had a great time. Finally toward the end he started smiling and laughing, but before that his face was all serious. He also helped Paul do the shoveling which he enjoys.
I'm me. I blog my life. Most of it is about my three boys and my experiences as their mother. I try to keep it honest, real and funny when possible. Hopefully, one day when the memories have faded this blog will remind me of this sweet time of life when my babies were babies.
